DUMBLETON are second in the West of England Premier Cricket League Gloucester Division after taking the derby honours at Bourton Vale.
The visitors triumphed by 13 runs despite struggling early on after being asked to bat first.
Opener Graeme Piesse (13) was the only top-five Dumbleton batsman to reach double figures as they staggered to 42-5.
But John Fish (38) and Tom Green (58 not out) saved the innings with a 105-run stand before Nigel Stanton’s 24 ensured a total of 186-7 from 45 overs. Carl Brungar, Ben Hughes and Ryan Hill all took two wickets for Bourton, who then fell short on 173 all out from 40 overs.
All-rounder Fish claimed 5-52 from nine overs and Stanton chipped in with 2-22.
Bourton’s Kyle Stovold (38), Stuart Hughes (31) and Mark Whitney (28no) gave them hope.
