SHIPSTON SUPERTEAM have maintained their strong lead at the top of the Shipston and ADDAC Winter League.
The winner at Shipston went to Austin Dawe for Shipston Gold, who reeled in a fantastic catch of a 24 lb 8 oz chub.
Dawe's catch was by far and away the top catch of the day, with Stuart Fleming coming in second in Shipston. Fleming captured a dace weighing in at 3 lb 4 oz.
At Monk's Barn Farm, Les Ashby was the winner. Fishing for Shipston Superteam, Ashby reeled in a catch at 3 lb 4 oz - beating out second place Tony Avery of ADDAC whose catch came to 2 lb 4 oz.
Finally, at Clifford Chambers, Shipston Superteam's Nigel Davis won his second in a row - pulling in a winner at 1 lb 14 oz. While Barry Giles finished second with a catch of 1 lb 5 oz.
Going in to the final round next week, Shipston Superteam will be hoping they can maintain their strong performances and win the league, however as it gets colder, it looks to be a tougher session for the competitors.
The current league standings see Shipston Superteam on top with 31 points. ADDAC follow behind on 26 points, while Lamb Donna and Shipston Gold tie for third position on 21 points. At the bottom of the table on 19 points, is GKW.
