EVESHAM United bagged a third successive victory after controlling the encounter to defeat hosts Westbury United 1-0 in Southern League Division One South.
The Robins did not look in danger but it took 41 minutes to create the first clear chance in a dull, flat opening period.
Aidan Clarke beat a string of players before curling an effort towards the bottom corner that required a save from keeper Jonathan Hill.
But Evesham broke the deadlock inside 10 minutes of the second half through regular scorer Levi Steele who slotted an Aaron Heap through-ball past Hill.
Freddie Willcox was denied a penalty soon after, going down among a tangle of legs.
Westbury's only half-chance arrived 20 minutes from time when Evesham keeper Ben Taylor tipped over a dangerous cross.
The Robins, again backed by a strong travelling contingent, boosted their play-off push ahead of Saturday's home league game with title-chasing Cribbs (3pm).
