MORETON Rangers continued their recent good form as they beat Tytherington Rocks 2-0.
The hosts made it back-to-back victories in the Hellenic League Division One thanks to goals from Felix Robertson and Nathan Sherpa-Moore.
It was also their third win in four in the league and they have now moved up into 15th in the table, five points clear of the relegation spot.
They had only won two of their opening 17 games in the league and looked destined for the drop before this latest upturn in fortunes.
They have played a number of games more than those down at the bottom of the league but points on the board are much more important when fighting for safety.
Rangers will be hoping to maintain their food run over the Christmas period when they host Calne Town on Saturday before a trip to bottom-of-the-table Chipping Sodbury Town on December 30.
