IT was another busy weekend of racing for members of the Bourton Roadrunners.
The main event , on Sunday, was the popular Eynsham 10K, where 12 of the club's members took part amongst a 560-strong field.
In-form Peter Carrick was the club’s first finisher, achieving a new personal best of 38 minutes and 44 seconds, with veteran Darren Long not far behind in a respectable 39:39.
Bourton’s first woman was multi-discipline athlete Maxine Emes, who had a fine run in 45:06. Andy Peaston had a solid race in 48:43, just ahead of Tony Goodwill (MV65) in 49:41; both achieving sub 8-minutes per mile.
Other club members included Megan Ratcliffe, who battled to stay ahead of veteran John Harding, finishing in 50:12 and 50:56 respectively. Gill Carrick had a strong run with 55:04, while Lynn Hudson and Imogen Cox ran the course together in 64:21; a new PB for Imogen. Completing the team was Jenny Evanson in 71:59.

Cheltenham Pittville Park: Chris Dry – 26:23.
Chipping Norton School: Steph Holton – 25:58 (VW55/3), Patrick Smith – 38:20, Julie Smith – 38:20.
Clapham Common: Eva Shoemark – 26:09.
Holbrooks, Coventry: (including “Boggy Corner”) - Susan Hunt – 25:51 (VW55/1).
Witney: Lee Hutton – 25:45 (VM/1), Jenny Evanson – 37:28, Cleo Carruthers – 40:20 (VW70/1), John Conway – 41:26, Sarah Conway – 56:12.
