Bishops Cleeve scored ELEVEN goals in a crushing 11-2 win over Shrivenham on Tuesday evening as they romped to their first league title in 35 years.
A 7-1 win on their return to Kyte Lane against Hereford Lads club on Saturday ensured that, with a game to go, a win on Tuesday would secure the Hellenic League Premier title and automatic promotion to Step 4.
And they stormed to victory in style against Shrivenham, with substitute Kieran Alder scoring a ten-minute hattrick in the final moments of the game to win their first title since 1987.
Jordan Annear and Joe Selman both scored two each with Archie Haskayne, Blaine Waugh, Jack Watts and Jake Rhodes also getting in on the act.
27 wins and eight draws in their 37 games, including just two defeats, means they win it in some style.
But whilst Cleeve were running to their title win, Bourton Rovers continued their run into relegation from Division One on Tuesday, losing 5-1 to Cheltenham Saracens.
Two goals from Jordan Bryan for the Sarries proved to be too much for Bourton who have all but confirmed that they will finish the season in last place, currently sat on a goal difference of -109.
Moreton Rangers' struggles also continued Tuesday night as they lost 5-0 to mid-table Milton United.
The loss means that Moreton currently sit 16th in the table, just one place above Bourton.
However, they are faring a lot better than Bourton, sitting thirteen points ahead of them as well as their goal difference being 57 better off, sat at -52.
