NORTH Cotswold Tri & Run Maria Brush finished as first lady in the Exmoor Trail 10k.

Brush bagged 11th overall in a time of 55:45 with her husband, Phil Brush, achieving second in the event's half marathon.

Phil's time was 2:02:48 with club colleagues Daniel Badger in 36th (2:30:46), Marianne Badger in 73rd (2:47:14) and Claire Harrison in 99th (2:54:52). 

Sophie Franklin was brave enough to tackle the full marathon distance and was rewarded with a very respectable 6:42:30 to snaffle 23rd lady and 49th place overall.

Elsewhere, Steve Edwards returned to marathon duty with his 801st 26-mile stretch, setting a time of 3:26:50 to come in second at the Enigma Three Lakes Marathon.
