ELEVEN-year-old Elsa Thwaites will be pitching her stamina against eight other teams when she takes part in the Gloucestershire regional cross country finals.
The Dormer House School pupil will be part of the North Cotswolds team after coming third in recent trials out of 135 runners.
The finals will be on March 19 at Newent.
Two other Dormer pupils, Imogen Hynes and Grace Lloyd narrowly missed out on a place.
Dormer's sports teacher Greg Stotesbury said: "Congratulations to all of our pupils. They all ran with great determination and spirit. We look forward to following Elsa's progress as she competes in the Gloucestershire regional finals for the North Cotswolds team."
