BOURTON Roadrunners tackled the 30th annual Hooky Six race over a two-lap course around Hook Norton.
Mike Smith was fifth overall in 34 minutes 35 seconds, followed by Ewen Smith (7th, 35.02) and Chris Krzywiec (8th, 35.17) as the speedy trio took the men’s team prize.
Shona Crombie Hicks was first woman in 37.18, with Kate Krzywiec (4th, 42.24) and Catherine Wheeler (44.43) completing the winning female team. Steph Holton was first woman over 45.
Almost Athletes’ Bugatti 10k took place at Prescott Hill Climb and Bourton scooped a bagful of prizes.
Chris Krzywiec celebrated his first podium appearance with second overall in 37.09.
Ewen Smith pipped Mike Smith on the line with 37.17 for fourth as Bourton took the male team prize.
Shona Crombie-Hicks was second woman in 39.26 and Kate Krzywiec first over 35 in 42.52.
