ALEX Gregory and Matt Gotrel are in Great Britain’s team for the European Championships in Poznan, Poland, from May 29 until 31.
Wormington’s Olympic gold medallist Gregory will be in the open men’s eight with Chipping Campden’s Gotrel, Mohamed Sbihi, George Nash, Paul Bennett, Pete Reed, Will Satch, Stewart Innes and cox Phelan Hill.
GB took the last two world championship titles in the class but Gregory and Sbihi were in the four for the 2014 Euros win. Gregory, 31, and Gotrel, 26, race for Leander Club in Henley-on-Thames.
