THE Cotswold-trained Belmount made a winning debut over fences in the totepool Bet On All UK Racing Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase at Ludlow.
The promising six-year-old secured a one-length success under Naunton trainer Nigel Twiston-Davies’ son Sam as a 10-3 favourite.
Chipping Norton trainer Charlie Longsdon also had a winner at Ludlow through Promanco (11-4) by seven lengths, as well as Zarawi (7-2 favourite) at Plumpton.
Nigel Twiston-Davies swooped at Haydock with Big Casino (10-3 second-favourite) by five lengths.
