CHIPPING Norton’s U11s and 12s have the opportunity of a lifetime in the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup, according to London Welsh skipper Tom May.
London Welsh host the Premiership Rugby national grassroots tournament at Witney this weekend.
Each festival winner takes part in the Parade of Champions at half-time in May’s Aviva Premiership final at Twickenham.
Chippy go head-to-head with a collection of United Kingdom clubs and will also get the chance to meet London Welsh players.
May said: “I still remember playing at that age and loving my rugby even then, so I can’t wait to hear how the children get along. I hope they will enjoy the game like I did.”
Land Rover supports grassroots rugby and provides the opportunity for more than 7,000 youngsters to take part in the cup each season.
