MORETON-in-Marsh youngsters kicked off their tag rugby season with an 18-14 away win.
Kitebrook House School recorded the victory at Banbury-based Sibford, which produced fine attacking with the visitors’ fine running lines particularly impressing.
The player-of-the-match was Bob Rawlinson for scoring 10 tries. Meanwhile, in a first for both schools, Kitebrook House and Cold Aston School from Cheltenham fielded year one and two football teams.
They both played with a sporting attitude throughout heavy downpours. Kitebrook came out on top with victories in all four games.
