EBRINGTON won the latest battle for Cotswold Hills Cricket League Division Two third spot with a 51-run victory at FISSC.
The Gloucestershire villagers were dismissed for 286 and then restricted the Warwickshire side to 235-9.
Tom Clarkson (78), Joshua Collins (72) and Nathaniel Gregory (58) were Ebrington’s main scorers. Gregory took 5-34 as FISSC fell short.
Slaughters United are second in Gloucestershire League Division Three following a seven-wicket home win over Churchdown.
After keeping the visitors to 157-9 thanks to Matt Rose’s 5-13 from nine overs, openers Phillip Chapple (55) and John McPhilimey (42) set up a successful run chase.
Great Rissington topped Division Five by thrashing Gloucester Crescent Pakistanis seconds by nine wickets.
Kevin Saunders (102) and Chris Bowen (56 not out) led the winning reply of 188-1.
