STOW-on-the-Wold Rugby Club secured a meaningful win against rivals Stratford-upon-Avon.
The Corns won the tie 23-14 in the Regional 2 Midlands West league on Saturday, September 16.
Following a 43-5 loss at the hands of Newent the week before, Stow had something to prove in the fixture.
The win took The Corns up to fifth in the table with nine points, with Stratford sitting in eighth with a total of seven points.
This weekend will see Stow take on Shipston-on-Stour in southern Warwickshire, in what could be a tough game against the third-place side.
However, Shipston's last game was an incredibly low-scoring affair against Ludlow, who bested them 9-6 away from home.
The second team will also welcome local rivals Banbury to Oddington Road to continue their positive start to the season.
The Colts are also set to welcome Leamington Spa RFC on Friday, September 22 for a game under the floodlights.
