STOW RFC suffered a big 43-5 loss over the weekend at the hands of Newent.
The two sides clashed in the Regional 2 Midlands West league on Saturday, September 9 away from home.
The scoreline was not as big as their meeting earlier this year when Newent beat Stow 53-0 on Saturday, April 8.
Newent currently sits in third place with nine points in the league and will be looking ahead to the game against Moseley Oak.
The Corns will have something to prove in their upcoming fixture with rivals Stratford Upon Avon after the loss.
Stow-RFC will be playing Stratford at 3pm on Saturday, September 15 in the Regional 2 Midlands West league.
Stratford Upon Avon currently sits in sixth, with seven points, and Stow is in eighth with four points.
There will be plenty more sports action over the weekend at the club, as Stow RFC Colts welcome Stroud Combination Colts for a Friday fixture (September 15), kicking off at 7.30pm.
On Saturday, the Women's rugby returns for the first time of the year with a touch rugby game against Tewksbury RFC which starts at 1pm.
Meanwhile United will be continuing their league campaign against Aylesbury RFC II, on their 3G pitch.
