FOUR members of the Peacock Gymnastics Academy were amongst the medals at the Entry Level GEM’s National competition pathway.
All four girls had successfully progressed through the Southern Region competition in previous weeks - hosted by Independent Gymnastics Association (IGA); UK’s leading alternative pathway for amateur gymnastics.
Over seventy select gymnasts from 14 clubs around UK joined the Peacock gymnasts – all of whom were competing in the Entry level GEM’s National competition pathway.
Parents and friends all enjoyed their Mother’s Day watching women’s artistic gymnastics across five disciplines.
Medals were awarded in competing groups for each discipline (Bars, Beam, Floor, Vault and Flexibility/ Basics) and the overall all-round winners got a trophy for their age and ability.
The future is bright as PGA earned one silver and several bronze medals across all disciplines with plenty of young talent on display.
PGA offers structured gymnastics programmes for all children aged 2 onwards from beginner to elite competitive levels for individuals as well as introductory programs with competitive pathways through local primary schools.
