A fly-half who started his career at a Cotswold club has been called up to the England squad ahead of the Six Nations.
Fin Smith could be in line to make his debut for the national team next month after being named in Steve Borthwick's first squad since taking over from Eddie Jones.
Smith's rugby journey began when he was just four years old with Shipston RFC.
He then went on to join Warwick School before getting his first taste of professional rugby with Worcester Warriors.
When the club was hit by financial troubles last year Smith departed for Northampton Saints, filling the boots of Toulon-bound Dan Biggar.
Speaking on the inclusion of young talent such as 20-year-old Smith, new England head coach Borthwick said: "This is an exciting squad with a blend of Six Nations experience and young talent and includes players who are in excellent form in the Premiership.
“We are all looking forward to the challenges of the Six Nations and we will approach this great tournament with a spirit of courage and total commitment.
“I know the players can’t wait to get back to Twickenham and give our fans a performance they can be proud of. The hard work for the Scotland game starts now.”
