A bowls club has been "bowled over" by a housebuilder's donation.
Backhouse, which is currently building 67 new homes on Evenlode Road in Moreton, has announced it will be sponsoring the Moreton-in-Marsh Bowls Club.
The housebuilder said the sponsorship will help the club buy new mats and "underpins Backhouse’s support for local organisations".

Ian Jones, CEO at Backhouse, said: "I thoroughly enjoyed meeting members of the bowls club and trying the sport for the first time.
"We are proud to support Moreton-in-Marsh Bowls Club.
"As a company, we are committed to creating thriving communities, and we recognise the importance of investing in organisations that foster social connections and promote healthy, active living."
The club has long been a part of the community, providing the opportunity to bowl to all ages and skill levels.
Geoffrey Cox, social media secretary at the club, added: "We are delighted with the donation from Backhouse.
"We rely on local companies to support our fundraising each year and it was fantastic Ian could come down and try a game of bowls with us."
