Five Bourton Roadrunners took on the delayed Stratford-upon-Avon Half Marathon and 10K over the weekend.
In the 10K, Freddy Sansom, who has moved up through Bourton’s Junior runners, finished with an impressive time of 46 minutes and 50 seconds.
Veteran Tony Goodwill followed closely, clocking in at 51 minutes and one second, while Allie Quinn completed the race in 61 minutes and five seconds.

In the half marathon, Michela Sartori and Claire Carroll ran together, supporting each other throughout the race.
They finished strongly with times of two hours, five minutes and three seconds and two hours, five minutes and 10 seconds, respectively.
On the same day, Basia Legierska participated in the Redditch 10K, finishing fourth in her age category with a great time of 52 minutes and 55 seconds.
Meanwhile, Andy Peaston, a veteran of the Stratford events, opted to compete in the Stroud Half Marathon, where he finished in one hour, 49 minutes and 51 seconds.
Further afield, Jaq Underwood joined a group from her Newport Female Running Network for the Gower Coastal Run, Walk, Crawl and Challenge.
Due to injuries among the group, they opted to walk and completed the 23-mile trail in 8 hours and 14 minutes.
As always, the club was well represented at various parkrun events across the country.
Highlights include William Harvey finishing in 20 minutes and 26 seconds in Aberdeen, Steph Holton in Barnstaple with a category-leading time of 25 minutes and 17 seconds, Edward Hare finishing third overall in 19 minutes and 22 seconds at Whitehaven, and George Swayne at Stratford-upon-Avon finishing in an impressive 18 minutes and 48 seconds, the fastest in his category.
Members also participated at venues including Bushy Park, Fulham Palace, Gunnersbury, King George V Playing Field in Cheltenham, Severn Bridge, Witney and Wolford Wood.
