Parkruns across the country were flooded with Bourton Roadrunners last weekend.

Hundreds turned out to celebrate Liz Hulcup reaching the "100 Parkrun" milestone at Stratford-upon-Avon, while newcomer Arianna Downs was participating in her first race.

Once welcoming speeches wrapped up, including a tribute to Hulcup with her milestone t-shirt, the event got underway.

As per usual at most parkruns, the field ranged from seasoned runners to newcomers.

The club members went haring after their personal goals, shaving seconds and more off their best times.

Hulcup not only reached the 100th parkrun milestone but was also ranked third overall in her age group (86.94 per cent).

Coming in close behind her was another club member, Margret Hollamby (90.27 per cent).

Also at Stratford-upon-Avon, court personal bests were ran by John Harding (24:14), Gill Carrick (25:44) and Claire Louise Carroll (27:06).

More members had their running shoes on across the country.

At Bideford, Step Holton achieved a time of 23.44 while Gary Holton clocked in at 30.14.

At Chipping Norton School, Edward Hare completed his parkrun at 19.00, followed by Rebecca Townsend at 23.31 and Louise Townsend at 28.46, the latter of which was a course personal best.

Helena Dobbs was pleased with her time of 26.30 at Coldham Common.

Another highlight for the club over the weekend was Chris Dry running a course personal best at King George V Playing Field (26:52).

Other host venues included Evesham, Fleetwood Promenade, Hilly Fields and Oxford.
