LAMB from the Cotswolds served at a Royal event hosted by the Queen was described as ‘nothing short of perfect.’ Anne Harrison, of Broad Campden, secretary of the Cotswold Sheep Group, said Casterbridge Cotswold Lamb was served for the pre-Royal wedding celebrations at The Mandarin Oriental Hotel, hosted by the Queen and attended by royal figures such as the royal families of Spain, Greece, Siberia, Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg along with the Sultan of Brunei and Sheikh Ahmad Hamoud Al-Sabah of Kuwait.
Mrs Harrison said: “The hotel sent a note to the suppliers Fairfax Meadow stating ‘the lamb quality for our royal event was nothing short of perfect.”
