THE CHANCE to sit in the cockpit of a Vulcan bomber at Wellesbourne airfield has come around again.
The popular Wings and Wheels 2009 event is set for this Sunday.
Other attractions include pleasure flights, classic cars, military vehicles and ground displays at Wellesbourne Mountford Aerodrome near Stratford.
Member of the Royal Air Force Association’s north Cotswold branch Keith Moule said: “This is the main fund-raising event for the Maintenance and Preservation Society and this year celebrates the arrival of the aircraft.” Gates open at 10am followed by a slow taxi run at 11.30am and high speed taxi at 2pm.
