The North Cotswold Young Cricketers Club celebrated one of its most successful seasons with a dinner attended by 85 members at Shipston Rugby Club.

The evening was a chance to present the end of season awards to the different age groups and to recap on the season’s achievements.

NCYCC enjoyed success in the Under-11 Cirencester District cup competition and finished top in both divisions of the Cotswold Hills League in the U-12 and U-13 age groups.

There was also a successful defence of the Longsdon Cup at the Ilmington Carnival, while the U-13 six-a-side team finished runners-up at Great Tew.

Thanks were offered to the club’s many helpers and sponsors including Global Solutions Limited and match ball sponsor Graham Treglown.

Blockley Sports Club and Ebrington Cricket Club were also thanked for allowing use of their grounds for training and home games.
