A HOME has been raided of diamond earrings, cash and a homemade ring in an overnight burglary.
The incident occurred between 10pm on Saturday, November 30 and 7.30am on Sunday, December 1 as a property was broken into on Church Road in Chipping Norton.
Officers say that the offenders stole car keys, a purse which contained various cards and £50 in cash, a handmade ring and diamond earrings.
The victim’s stolen purse was found at 11.30am on Sunday, December 1 by a member of the public on Hastings Hill, with all of the belongings still inside, apart from the £50 in cash.

Thames Valley Police is now appealing for information following the burglary in Chipping Norton and released an appeal to the public today (Tuesday, December 3).
Investigating officer Detective Constable Sophie Smith, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident, or who may have mobile phone footage, dash cam or ring doorbell footage that may assist this investigation to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
“Specifically, I’m appealing to anyone who may have seen a vehicle or person present at Hastings Hill at the time the purse was found.
