A POPULAR historic coaching inn has announced a new partnership with Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
The Lygon Arms in Broadway, Worcestershire, will engage in various volunteering and fundraising activities as part of the partnership.
Each employee at the inn is allocated a volunteering day each year to help raise funds and support the charity's lifesaving work.
The inn will donate raffle prizes and explore other fundraising initiatives, such as festive wreath-making.
Additionally, a donation station will be set up within the premises, offering employees a way to donate pre-loved items, which will be sold in the charity’s shops.
The inn is renowned for its history and architecture, being a coaching inn since the 1300s.
It has hosted a number of notable guests, including King Charles I and Oliver Cromwell.
Deputy general manager of the inn, Darren Connor, said: "We are thrilled to be able to offer our assistance to this remarkable charity who offer emergency medical support to those in need throughout the region.
"We understand that they are one of the busiest and longest established air ambulance charities in the UK and we hope that our charity partnership will help in some small way to ensure they continue to offer their lifesaving services to those in need."
