A jury has heard that a woman allegedly threatened to stab a teenage boy if he didn’t have sex with her.
Osareen Omoruyi, 51, is on trial at Oxford Crown Court charged with three counts of sexual activity with a child and one count of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity after an alleged incident on February 7 in Witney.
The defendant is accused of threatening a teenage boy, 14, to engage in a sexual activity with her in a wooded area near the Waitrose supermarket in Witan Way.

She allegedly threatening to stab him if he tried to run away.
Omoruyi, of Duckington Lane, Witney, has denied the offences and is expected to say that the boy had asked her for sex but nothing happened.
The trial started on Tuesday afternoon (October 15) and is expected to last four to five days.
During the opening, the prosecuting barrister told the jury that the boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had been in town at about 8.20pm.
When he started walking back home, a woman sitting on a nearby bench allegedly gestured him over. The boy believed it was a family friend so obliged but soon realised he did not recognise her.

Reportedly, Omoruyi encouraged the boy to drink ‘four to five cups’ of alcohol after telling him she was armed and she would ‘stab him’ if he didn’t do what she said such as staying on the bench with her.
The pair then went to a nearby shop to purchase more alcohol with Omoruyi allegedly threatening to stab the boy if he tried to run.
He told police he felt ‘helpless’ and feared he would ‘fall over’ if he tried to run due to the alcohol.
After, the defendant allegedly took the boy into a nearby wooded area and allegedly encouraged him to drink more alcohol.
Omoruyi then reportedly sexually assaulted the teen and tried to force him to have sex with her. He told police he had tried but doesn’t ‘remember’ seeing her genitals.
The pair were then spotted by police officers later that evening near a police station with the boy allegedly mouthing ‘help me’ at about midnight.

Omoruyi was arrested and had intimate swabs taken. The prosecuting barrister told the jury that the swabs revealed the defendant is biologically male.
During a police interview, Omuruyi told officers that the boy ‘wanted’ to drink alcohol and that he had asked for the sexual activity, but nothing had taken place.
The trial continues this week.
