Chipping Norton care home residents were thrilled with the visit of some equine friends.
The Lollipop Ponies visited Southerndown care home on Wednesday (16), to the delight of residents.
The home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, offering nursing, residential, and respite care.
The ponies roamed the home and visited residents in their rooms.
The home's general manager Arlene Acuavera said: "Our residents have really enjoyed their unusual visitors today.
"We knew that having the ponies here would be a bit of fun for all our residents.
"Today we have seen the enjoyment and the therapeutic influence animals can have on people."
