An author from the area will visit a Chipping Norton care home to promote her latest book.

Ruth Goldstraw will be reading from her latest novel, 'The Witchfinder's Assistant', at Southerndown Care Home.

She will also be signing copies of her book and will take questions from the audience.

The event is free to attend and people will be able to meet the author.

There will also be complimentary refreshments.

Arlene Acuavera, the general manager at the care home, said: "It’s lovely to be able to host such a fantastic event in support of Ruth and the work she has put in to her latest novel.

"The residents can’t wait to hear about it and have their copies ready for signing on the day."

The care home is run by Barchester Healthcare, a care provider which provides nursing care, residential care, and respite care.
