A care home is set to make a big donation to a neonatal unit.
Staff and residents at Southerndown Care Home in Chipping Norton are busy creating bonding squares in their knitting club, which will be donated to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
The squares, which are given to mothers and babies, are swapped so the baby can "smell" the mother while in the incubator.

Arlene Acuavera, general manager at the care home, said: "Taking part in this challenge is going to be really rewarding for the home.
"It’s for such an important cause.
"I’m very glad to be able to do my bit to raise money and more importantly supply the NICU with support in what can be challenging times for families and the hospitals."
The project has the support of residents, their relatives, and staff, who are also reaching out to the community for help.
The care home is asking for donations of wool, materials, or children's clothes to aid their efforts.
These can be dropped off at the donation box in the new reception area of Memory Lane at the home.
The care home, run by Barchester Healthcare, provides nursing, residential, and respite care.
