A BRIDGE has been swept off its foundation after torrential rain hit the Cotswolds.
The rain, which came during an amber weather warning from The Met Office, saw a month's worth of rainfall across certain places in the UK.
Sutton Brook in Sutton under Brailes swelled so much that a bridge at Feldon Valley Golf Club was swept 20 feet downstream.
Following the rain on Monday (September 23), groundskeepers started to repair the bridge the next day.
