ALMOST 1,000 homes have suddenly been left without power in a Cotswold town.
The incident is affecting Moreton in Marsh with National Grid reporting that 823 properties have been left without power.
In a post on X formerly known as Twitter, a National Grid spokesperson said: "We are sorry about the power cut in Moreton in Marsh, GL9 and the surrounding areas.
"Engineers are working to have all properties back on by 4.30pm."
