A nursing home in Chipping Norton has launched a new club exclusive for its male residents.
Southerndown Care Home celebrated the opening of the new Men’s Club with staff and residents with drinks, sports games, and shared memories.
Mark, a resident, said: "We’ve had such a lovely day.
"It has been wonderful to get together with all the gentlemen living here, and to have the staff come and join in with some drinks and games was really special."
Arlene Acuavera, general manager, at the home, said: "All the gentleman had been asking about us setting up a monthly club exclusive for the male residents once per month.
"It was a great hit, and we cant wait to launch ladies night alongside next month."
The care home, run by Barchester Healthcare, aims to provide engaging activities tailored to residents' interests and abilities under its life enrichment programme.
