A Cotswold online crowdfunding platform has supported an array of projects worth over £1 million after receiving community support.
Crowdfund Cotswold, an initiative of Cotswold District Council, has given life to numerous projects thanks to the generosity of residents, businesses, and community groups.
In the most recent round, a sum exceeding £30,000 was pledged to six community projects.

These initiatives range from an electric mower for Poulton Cricket Club to new play equipment for Poulton village.
Other beneficiaries include Woodmancote Community Space and Playpark and the New Brewery Hearts: Community Creativity project.
Since its launch in 2021, Crowdfund Cotswold has supported over £1 million worth of community projects.
Additionally, the council has committed over £180,000 to a total of 42 community projects.
Cabinet member for communities and public safety at the council, Cllr Lisa Spivey, said: "It’s fantastic news £1 million worth of local projects have been supported through our Crowdfund Cotswold platform - it really shows the power of the community.
"In the three years since we launched Crowdfund Cotswold, there have been some really amazing projects with so many different benefits to the community.
"I’m thrilled that we have been able to pledge a total of over £180,000 from the Cotswold Community Fund towards these fantastic projects."
She added: "The pledges from the council will help projects make significant strides toward achieving their goals, but they still require additional backing from the local community to fully realise their potential.
"I would encourage all residents and businesses to visit Crowdfund Cotswold and show your support for the many remarkable local initiatives crowdfunding to improve the Cotswolds.
"Congratulations to New Brewery Arts and the Phoenix Festival who have already reached their targets, I look forward to seeing those projects in the near future."
In the spirit of making a difference in the community, anyone interested in raising funds for their own projects can start by visiting the Crowdfund Cotswold website and creating a project page.
People and organisations can support these initiatives with as little as £2.
