Care professionals and blue light holders have been meeting for breakfast at a Chipping Norton care home.
The newly launched monthly event has been hailed a success, with many professionals from various care and healthcare organisations attending the meeting at Southerndown Care Home to meet and network with one another.
Launched in June, every month professionals and blue light holders from various care and healthcare organisations get the opportunity to meet at the care home, all while enjoying either a full English or a continental breakfast.
Arlene, general manager at Southerndown, said: "Southerndown is keen to be part of the community and our professional breakfast allows individuals from the care industry to meet and connect with one another.
"It’s a great chance to share experiences of working within the care sector, make new contacts within the community, and of course, enjoy our wonderful spread provided by our hospitality team!"
The breakfast meetings create a space for care professionals to exchange best practices, form connections and discuss the challenges and rewards of working in the care sector.
The meeting is open to professionals from various care and healthcare organisations and institutions.
Those attending also had the opportunity to ask any questions they may have on care and take a tour of the home.
Southerndown runs as part of Barchester Healthcare, a leading care provider in the UK with a commitment to assisting older people to live comfortably, respecting their dignity and independence.
