A hygiene poverty charity has appealed for Cotswold community groups in need to apply for product donations.

Toiletries Amnesty was the first UK organisation working to combat hygiene poverty, and is the only public directory in Britain that allows people and businesses to see where their donations are making an impact in their communities.

The charity currently supports 10 community organisations across the Cotswolds, but has said it is aware that there are even more people out there in need of aid.

Access to supplies to meet the escalating demand is challenging, and the charity aims to bridge this gap.

Organisations in need of toiletries can register for the charity's directory for free.

Many community groups and charities require toiletries for their service users, many of whom are in poverty.

You can access details about your closest organisations by entering your postcode into the interactive map.

Both part-used and new products are accepted, but the charity suggests confirming with the organisation before making a donation.
