A SMALL village music festival that punches above its weight has had two of its shows sell out.
The Guiting Music Festival is returning this month from July 19 to 28 and offers 'a good range of performers in a lovely setting' according to organisers.
Sheku & Braimah Kenneh-Mason with Plinio Fernandes and 28-piece Fantasia Orchestra on July 26 as well as Barbara Dickson with Nick Holland have both already sold out.
Simon Crocker, a trustee of Guiting Music Festival, said: "It's going to be a great atmosphere, festivals in general are having a really hard time at the moment with people holding back their money, but tickets are selling about as you would expect.
"We have a great range of performers in a lovely setting.
"We are not a huge venue but we still get performers who perform at huge venues.
"They are all great entertainers and I'm always blown away.
"The bulk of the festival's visitors come from a 30 mile radius but we also do have guests coming from Scotland and London.
"Last year our weekend shows were a knockout, we hit our legal open-air limit of 550 people even though it was absolutely pouring with rain."
Musicians who grace stages across the world as well as up and coming artists are set to perform in what could be the biggest year yet for the festival.

This is the festival's 54th year in a village with less than 500 people.
Rosie C Bartlett, a trustee of Guiting Music Festival said: "It's not the biggest festival but it's really well known for such a little village.
"Last year we had over 2,000 people which was amazing despite the fact that it was raining non stop, but everyone made a good time of it.
"The festival is lovely as Guiting Power is a really nice village with a great view overlooking the North Cotswold Hills, I am just hoping for some lovely sunshine."
