"Jamie, or ‘Gibbo’ as he was known by many of his colleagues, was an exceptionally gifted member of RAF Brize Norton’s Logistic Squadron, a place where he had spent many of the formative years of his career, developing strong friendships and gifting us with his humour and positive mindset.
"Moving onto various other locations and operational deployments across the Globe, including RAF Lossiemouth who have been supporting Jamie’s family, and Tactical Supply Wing at MOD Stafford, a unit which had a special place in Jamie’s heart.
"Jamie was a doting father to his children Keaton and Evie as well as his step-daughter Ruby.
"He loved all of them with all of his heart.
"He was a much-loved son of Karen and Tony, as well as stepson to Christine, Gary and Ken who all cannot comprehend their son’s life being taken so early.
"He was a much-adored brother to Stephanie, Robyn and Ashley who will sorely miss their huge hearted sibling, who has been a larger-than-life figure in so much of their lives.
"In his recent years, he had finally realised his dream of having a small holding with his loving (and patient) fiancée Rox, surrounded by animals of every species he ever wanted whilst donning a very infamous purple dressing gown, a moment of being truly content before his life was taken too soon.

"All those whose lives he touched were so very proud to call him their dad, son, brother, relative, partner or friend.
"He passed peacefully, surrounded by all his family and more, showing exactly how much, he was loved by his family, friends and the military.
"The family wish to pass on their thanks for all of the messages of support they have received so far - it is very clear to see just how much Jamie is loved.
"Our thoughts remain with Jamie’s family at this sad time."
