A busy Cotswold market town will be hosting a bi-annual motor show in less than a month.
Vehicles and aircraft will be descending upon the town on July 6 for the Stow Motor Show, an event held in the town since 2008.
The event is organised by the Stow Motoring Club.
Ben Eddolls from Stow Motoring Club said: "The event is held every two years by the club and has anything with a motor, from a helicopter to a train but it's mainly cars, classic, vintage and super.
"There will be a small area in the market square for supercars because they can be too low to get on and off, but the main event will be on the cricket field.
"It's not necessarily aimed at motoring, it's more of a community event, we already have 240 cars booked in along with loads of trade stalls.
"This year for the first time there will be a dog show organised by the local vets because there are a lot of dog owners around Stow and the surrounding villages."
There will be a vintage bus provided by Troopers Lodge ferrying people from the market square to the main event in the cricket field.
Mr Eddolls continued: "The show starts at midday and ends at 5pm and is free to the public, we are aiming to raise money for three to four local charities as well.
"There will be food and bars as well as a small funfair, there's something for everyone and a good time should be had by all.
"It does take a lot to organise, but we normally get quite a lot of people, we have booked the weather this year with the local vicar.
"I started the idea in 2008, but because of a lack of footfall and bad weather, we barely covered the costs, but now we have lots of volunteers and it's taken off and growing all the time."
A WW2 Spitfire and a WW2 Hurricane are planned to do a flypast during the show.
Brio Retirement Living is one of the sponsors for the show, Matt Cotton, general manager at Brio Beechwood Park said: "We’re keen supporters of events in our local community and are thrilled to be sponsoring the Stow Motor Show once again this year.
“It’s a fabulous day and gives our Brio colleagues a chance to meet more local people, while enjoying the day’s festivities and admiring the beautiful cars on show.
"Many of our homeowners at Beechwood Park are avid car fans so we’re all very much looking forward to the event.”
