A PROPERTY has been broken into by criminals in a Cotswold village.
Police suspect that the offenders used a sledgehammer to gain access to the building in Blockley pn Monday.
The criminals searched through drawers but did not take anything.
A spokesperson for Gloucester Constabulary said: "Unknown offenders have gained access to a property by smashing open the rear door possibly with a sledgehammer.
"Drawers in the property have been searched through but nothing appears to have been taken.
"The incident happened on Lower Street, Blockley, Moreton in Marsh sometime on June 17.
"If you have any information please quote incident 229 of June 17."
