A NEW terrace bar has opened at a popular bakery in Bourton-on-the-Water.
Bakery on the Water in Sherborne Street has unveiled a new outdoor drinking area known as the River Shack.
The venue offers cocktails, local beers and sharing boards including vegetable crudités, savour continental charcuterie, and a variety of regional cheeses.
It officially opened on Friday, June 14 with a launch party.
Co-owners Alexander Clavel and Narda Franco say they are hoping the new addition will soon become a known local gem.
Alexander said: “We wanted to create a space where people can unwind and enjoy the beautiful riverside setting with great food and drinks."
Narda added: "River Shack is a natural extension of what we offer at Bakery on the Water – quality, local produce and a warm, welcoming environment."
It is open every Friday and Saturday, from 3pm-11pm with food served from 6pm.
Reservations not required.
