A woman has been arrested after a fight broke out on the dancefloor at an Oxfordshire nightclub leading to a teen girl being hospitalised.
The incident occurred at The Blind Tiger bar on Market Square in Witney at around 1.15am on Saturday, June 8.
An argument broke out on the dancefloor, between two women and this escalated leading to one of the women allegedly hitting the victim in the face with a glass.
The 18-year-old victim sustained significant lacerations to the right side of her face, underneath her eye.

She required treatment at John Radcliffe Hospital but has since been discharged.
A 22-year-old woman from Oxfordshire was arrested on suspicion of GBH but she has since been bailed while Thames Valley Police’s investigation continues.
The force is appealing for witnesses following the assault in Witney and released a public appeal on Wednesday morning.
Investigating officer PC Sarah Finch, based at Witney Police Station, said: “This incident left the victim with significant facial injury, and we are carrying out a thorough investigation.

The Blind Tiger is a late night bar which came to Witney in 2022 and stays open until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
