A family-friendly adaptation of a romantic opera is coming to Chipping Campden.
Longborough Festival Opera's stage show The Implausible Potions of Dr Dulcamara will take to the Cidermill Theatre stage at 6.30pm.
A simplified adaptation of Donizetti’s Elixir of Love, the material centres around haughty Adina, shy Nemorino and boastful Belcore, all being deceived by the dubious Dr Dulcamara.
A story of romance, desire, deceit and gossip, alongside magical potions creating havoc, the performance plans to be a compelling introduction to opera for children.
Adult tickets are available for £15, while under 18's will be charged just £2.50.
