A Cotswolds care home is gearing up to launch a new café for people with dementia.
Southerndown Care Home in Chipping Norton will unveil its Memory Café with a traditional tea party on Tuesday (June 11) from 10.30am to 12pm, with backing from Dementia Oxfordshire.
General Manager Arlene Aquavera said: "Dedicated to members of our local community who are carers for loved ones who are living with dementia, we’ll be hosting a new Community Dementia Café running monthly.
"With special guests and support from Dementia Oxfordshire it’s a wonderful opportunity for the community to get together and offer support to each other."
