The Oxford Mail has opened a book of condolence for the woman who has been found dead after going missing.

Barbara, whose last name has not been released, went missing from West Oxfordshire on Wednesday (May 22).

She was last seen near Cogges Manor Farm in Witney, wearing a dark-coloured nightgown and yellow pyjamas on the top and bottom, heading towards Langel Common at around 6pm.

Police first appealed to the public to help locate her the day after she was reported missing.

However, the body of a woman was discovered in meadow land near to Newland Mill, Witney, on Friday evening (May 24).

Although formal identification is yet to have taken place, police believe the body to be that of Barbara, 32.
