An annual auction of promises hosted by Jeremy Clarkson has raised £15,500 for a community-run swimming pool.
Mr Clarkson was auctioneer offering up exciting lots to raise cash for his local lido in Chipping Norton.
An array of lots to raise cash included pet portraits and ice cream to stand-up paddleboarding, a luxurious getaway in Kent and holidays in Portugal, Scotland and Wales.
As the owner of nearby Diddly Squat Farm, the TV presenter is a fan of the 25-metre heated pool.
He wrote in his Sunday Times column that he prefers to enjoy a ‘heated lido’ rather than the current craze for wild swimming.
“If I want a swim I won’t go into a pond - I’ll simply pop into Chipping Norton, where there’s a lovely lido," he wrote.

“It’s heated, so it isn’t the slightest bit refreshing, and it’s full of chlorine so there’s no turds in it."
The lido opened in 1970 and was taken on by the community after West Oxfordshire District Council withdrew its funding in 2003.
It has been run as a charity since 2004 and receives no public funding other than a grant from Chipping Norton Town Council.
It was revamped in 2014/15 through fundraising and a £60,000 Sport England grant.
Last year's auction of promises raised around £13,500 with Clarkson's Farm co-star Kaleb Cooper's promise of a personal tractor lesson in Mr Clarkson's Lamborghini tractor the highest ticket of the night.
Blur bassist-turned-cheesemaker Alex James, who lives in nearby Kingham, also donated a Blue Monday Cheese plus tickets to his food and music event The Big Feastival.
