A DRIVER has received a large fine for carrying too many passengers in his car.
Wayne Mark Reeve admitted he was carrying too many passengers in his Audi on the A46 Evesham bypass. The case was heard at Worcester Magistrates Court on May 16.
The 39-year-old of Wyckham Court, Buckland Road, Childswickham, Broadway admitted using a motor vehicle in a manner likely to cause danger on November 11 last year. This involved carrying seven occupants in a five seater vehicle which 'involved a danger of injury to any person'.
He pleaded guilty via the single justice procedure. He was fined £440 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £264 and costs of £90.
A collection order made, giving the court extra powers to recover the money.
His driving record was also endorsed with three penalty points.
