Campden Home Nursing's first-ever 5K Chicken Fun Run took place at Blockley's 360Fit gym, located on a 28-acre farm in Cotswold, despite less than favourable weather conditions.

On the day, more than 80 dedicated runners and walkers faced wind, rain, and mud to raise over £4,000 for the local charity.

Ignoring the damp conditions, attendees sported yellow feathers, tails and chicken wings, creating a vibrant display against the sodden course.

"The success of the event wouldn't have been possible without the dedication of the participants and the support of volunteers, marshals, sponsors, and donors. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Marcus of 360Fit Blockley for his invaluable contribution in preparing the route and hosting the run."

Helen Makaritis, CEO of Campden Home Nursing, said: "It was heartwarming to know that many of the runners and walkers were families of patients we’ve helped over the years. We are so grateful for their support."
