Head along to The Cotswold Merrymouth Inn for a night of smooth jazz.
Jazz@The Merrymouth, near Fifield, will feature an exciting performance by the Hugh Turner Quartet on Thursday, April 11 from 7pm to 11.30pm.
The group, fronted by Turner, who is regarded as one of the UK's top funk jazz guitarists, promises a mix of jazz, funk and blues rock.
Tickets are available for £12.50.
Regular Jazz Journal contributor Derek Ansell lauded the group for having "lots of power, lots of energy although, in the last analysis, lots of swing and invention" adding that "the audience loved every minute."
