The 2024 Shipston Proms will begin in June.
The launch night is set for Friday, June 21 at The Townsend Hall in Shipston-on-Stour.
The main act for the event is rock band, The Dropouts. They will be supported by Thom Kirkpatrick.
Available via the Prom's Eventbrite webpage, tickets are selling for £15 each, excluding the booking fee.
The festival, which lasts for 16 days, marks the 26th edition and is a presentation by the Shipston Proms committee, involving veterans Tim and Helen Porter. The pair have been involved in creating every one of the Shipson Proms.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, two installments of the event were missed.
The venue for these music-filled nights includes pubs, schools, churches and halls in Shipston-on-Stour and neighbouring villages; Brailes, Ilmington, Barcheston and Tredington.
Gloucestershire band, The Dropouts (based in Moreton-in-Marsh and Cheltenham), were star performers on the last night of the 2023's Shipston Proms, impressing attendees with their covers of songs by Queen, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Motorhead amongst others.
They have expressed their excitement at returning for this year's proms.
In contrast to The Dropouts, Thom Kirkpatrick, a solo artist from Leamington Spa. He is known for creating a multi-layered sound using loops on guitar, keyboards and drums.
He covers songs such as "Uptown Funk" and "Starlight" by Superman Lovers.
